Businesses negatively impacted by Hurricane Irene are eligible for state assistance

CT's Dept. of Economic and Community Development announces assistance for businesses that includes bridge financing and loans covering uninsured losses up to $200,000, and  loan guarantees of up to $200,000 for banks and other lenders to spur local lending to businesses impacted by the storm. Grants and technical assistance will be available to businesses for assistance in disaster recovery, such as temporary help and training. Read more here.
