Local farmers will bring hot food and artists to the Quinnipiac River Park every Thursday from 3-7pm. JUNTA and GAVA are sponsoring the Fair Haven market.
Fans of Barbara Kingsolver's recent Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life will be interested to know that through their CSM (Community Supporting Markets) program, you can order a basket of vegetables and/or fruits to pick up or get delivered once a week. The baskets are either $10 or $15. (Order July baskets by July 2. ) This is a great way to get a selection of fresh food and free recipes regularly.
